Job description

This is an exciting time to join this rapidly expanding tour operator business, as a product manager. The role will help develop and innovate our client’s core cruise and stay product. Commercially astute with good relationship building skills, the role will work with cruise line partners to secure exclusive and competitive allocations and rates to tie in with the land product. The role will work closely with the operations team to ensure the customer journey is exceptional and to brand standards. Working with and across established teams, the right candidate will have excellent communication skills. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic product department of this growing company.

  • Passionate about travel and keen/able to travel to and research a range of destinations
  • Commercially astute, numerate and comfortable with analytics, pricing, negotiating, ROI and yield management
  • Intuitive and inventive -able to show individual initiative
  • Experience of managing a small team – with a focus on leadership, KPI’s and development
  • A team player with a holistic understanding of the business, comfortable working with other departments – Purchasing, Operations, Marketing, Sales and Finance – and able to agree timescales and delivery through influencing skills
  • An understanding of commercial pipelines – balancing future planning with fast-moving and high-pressure trading needs
  • Clear communication skills, with the ability to present both internally and to external suppliers
