Job description

This is a newly created role and will play a key part in promoting an exciting and new proposition in tailor-made travel.   The ideal candidate will have a good track record of all marketing techniques through the line including search (SEO & PPC), online advertising, social media, database marketing and site optimisation.  Whilst this is a new brand proposition the successful candidate will have access to a highly experienced marketing department and external service agencies and must, therefore, have previous experience of working in a matrix and start-up environment would be extremely advantageous.   As well as a thorough knowledge of all marketing techniques you will have a passion for content as an important tool in acquisition and retention.

  • A sound knowledge of all marketing disciplines, particularly digital including search (SEO/PPC)
  • Highly commercial with a sound understanding of excel, google analytics and all relevant travel technologies
  • A can-do attitude with excellent project management skills
  • Excellent writing skills and experience of creating/editing content to be consistent with an agreed tone of voice
  • Previous experience of working in a start-up environment would be very useful
  • Excellent relationship and partnership skills with the ability to influence across departments in a matrix environment
  • Excellent planning and project management skills with the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines particularly as the new brand approaches launch
  • Highly organised and excellent communication skills.
  • A genuine interest, knowledge and passion for travel
