This is an exciting time to join an established travel business as a Group Marketing Manager.  Our client, an award-winning travel business is looking for an experienced, creative, and innovative marketer to help develop and implement growth strategies to achieve our clients’ ambitious business goals.   Working with the senior management team, this role will be responsible for driving the full marketing plan and will set the marketing budget.  Along with two direct reports, this role will manage the full marketing mix and will be responsible for digital, brand,  campaigns & event, and CRM marketing.    You will have good knowledge of the UK travel market and established working relationships with key travel partners.

  • A proven track record in delivering the marketing plan – tactically and strategically
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and SEO to effectively lead digital marketing campaigns
  • Strong relationship management skills in order to effectively manage the marketing needs of a portfolio of businesses
  • Experience in social media management, knowledge of SM platforms, and creating content
  • Photoshop and InDesign experience
  • Ability to prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets for the Marketing department. Managing the marketing budget, ensuring that it is spent efficiently and in accordance with the marketing strategy.
  • Ability to manage the Company’s approach to different media channels.
  • Ability to report on the effectiveness of existing marketing campaigns using pre-determined KPIs.
  • Confident user of all Microsoft Office software
  • Excellent analytical skills to effectively analyse market trends and competitors
  • Strong financial skills to effectively review financial forecasts and set targets
  • Ability to take ownership of projects
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • BSC/MSc degree in marketing or related field
  • Experience in the travel industry
