Our client is seeking to recruit an all-around marketing professional to lead a talented team with the ongoing development of marketing strategies which will further enhance long-term customer engagement across all markets.   This is a newly created role, and the successful individual will be responsible for leading the team across all areas of b2c and b2b marketing including setting strategy, digital marketing, brand development, partnership marketing, customer experience and PR/media relations.  This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business with plans for expansion, growth and product development and play a key part in its continued success.   Knowledge of the travel, transport, tourism, and retail sectors would be extremely useful whilst a passion for the customer journey is essential

  • Experienced through -the- line -marketer with a proven track record in delivering innovative marketing strategies across the full marketing mix.  Including but not exclusively strategy/planning, digital marketing, brand development, joint venture/partnership marketing, customer engagement and PR/Media relations
  • An excellent understanding of digital marketing including managing design processes including UX/UI, front end development and performance analytics (as a key measure of effectiveness of marketing spend)
  • Proven track record of identifying commercial joint venture and partnership campaigns
  • Customer-centric with a thorough understanding of all the relevant technologies to deliver an enhanced customer experience and loyalty
  • Reporting to the Marketing Director and the Board  you will have excellent leadership skills to develop, inspire and motivate the talented team across all marketing disciplines
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills with the ability to influence at all levels both internally and externally with external service agencies and joint venture partners
  • Good all-round knowledge and understanding of public relations and media relations disciplines and the benefits gained in building strong relationships with local, national, and trade press
  • Proven track record of managing and delivering multiple projects on time and within budget
  • Good attention to detail with a passion for data, analytics, and market research
  • Excellent budgeting and forecasting skills
  • Compelling presentation and communication skills
  • A can-do attitude
  • Flexibility to travel and be based in the company HQ on the South Coast regularly as well as WFH from time to time
