Job description

Working closely with the UK sales office you will take responsibility for driving sales in German speaking markets for the operator.  You will be responsible for sourcing, new business opportunities within the German speaking travel marketplace as well as continuing to build on existing relationships.  The role requires a b2b sales professional who loves the buzz of winning new business and delivering sound commercial relationships to meet targets and increase revenue.

Skills
  • You will have a proven track record of sales gained in the European tourism market including yearly sales plans, monthly reports and scheduling and tracking against budgets
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and German with French and Spanish an advantage
  • Highly commercial with strong negotiation skills and a sound knowledge of all distribution methods
  • A sound knowledge and passion for South East Asia would be a significant advantage as would previous experience of working within a DMC or representation business
  • Attention to detail with excellent budgeting and forecasting skills
  • Excellent presentation skills with experience of delivering thorough and professional RFPs and pitch documents
  • Strong communication skilled at working independently as well as delivering as part of a team
  • Flexibility to travel regularly across Europe as well as attending relevant trade shows and exhibitions
