Job description

Our client curates unique travel experiences for discerning high profile, high net worth individuals and high level corporate groups, offering a truly bespoke and tailor-made service. In line with their success they are looking to expand the team and recruit a senior Travel Advisor; a pivotal role in the company, whose primary purpose is to create and convert inspirational global travel itineraries, with an opportunity to lead and direct a small team and become involved in broader aspects of the business including marketing/PR, business development and events. You will be well-travelled with a genuine passion for travel and a fantastic geographical knowledge. You will be keen to share your own unique ideas with highly discerning clients to exceed their expectations and deliver extraordinary experiences and itineraries. The role comes with an excellent salary and the opportunity to earn significant additional commission. There will be opportunity to travel with the role on regular familiarisation trips.

  • - Competent and experienced to take ownership of travel planning projects for high and ultra-high net worth clients who have expectations to exceed.
  • - An excellent communicator, well-organised and clearly able to manage your time demonstrating the ability to multi-task and work to deadlines.
  • Work as part of a close-knit team, whilst proactively using your own initiative to work independently
  • Confident interacting with clients and suppliers over the telephone with a “listening ear”, via email, in person and/or representing the company at networking events.
  • Commercially minded and able to consider costs incurred through potential new business opportunities with a realistic ROI.
  • Possess good writing skills to engage clients with travel concepts, demonstrating an eye for detail and accuracy with costings, as well as displaying a creative flair with trip planning and documents presented.Solid experience of sales within the luxury travel industry or high level corporate group travel sector.
  • Knowledge of the world of high-net-worth individuals, families and/or corporate travellers.
  • Experience using Adobe InDesign would be beneficial.
