** Fantastic opportunity for a Caribbean destination expert** Fixed Term Contract – Maternity Cover

This is a great opportunity for a sales professional with an interest in luxury travel destinations. The role will deliver ongoing sales and marketing plans by working with the travel industry and developing the B2B and the B2C business.  The role will also train agents on the product as well as establishing and promoting the brand at trade exhibitions. Other responsibilities will require establishing new sales outlets and maintaining good relationships with established partners.  You will also be responsible for the coordination and supervising of the team at trade shows and exhibitions.  Sales focussed and commercial, this position will determine and implement the most effective sales techniques in order to exceed targets.  Extensive travel is required within the UK,  Europe, and the Caribbean,

  •  Good knowledge and understanding of travel industry marketing and promotions.
  • Experienced in marketing and selling travel
  • Solid presentation skills, with the ability to deliver effectively to both small and large audiences
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised, good attention to detail with the ability to multi-task
  • Self-starter but able to work well with a team
  • Positive attitude with great interpersonal skills and outstanding customer service skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience with sales and promotional events
  • Must be able to travel internationally and hold a valid passport
  • Ideally – practical knowledge of the Caribbean and certification in Scuba diving
