Job description

This exciting opportunity will join the international sales team in London. The Sales Manager will require an experienced sales person with a can-do sales attitude and strong business development skills to increase new business as well as manage existing clients, across an international product portfolio. This role will be working in a face-to-face sales environment so will require a strong sales person with experience presenting and hitting targets. In addition to hitting targets, it will work on an existing customer base to increase sales as well as identify new areas of opportunity for business development within the travel trade market. Main responsibilities will include relationship managing and building relationships with existing clientele, working closely with the Director and team to advise on strategy and new business plans as well as attending events as required.

Skills
  • Extensive sales experience developing and managing business from major accounts, ideally within the meetings, travel or hospitality industries.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation and report writing.
  • A proven record of targeting and securing new business.
  • An ability to assimilate and practice key account management principles.
  • The willingness to undertake regular international travel, often unaccompanied.
  • The combination of being able to work under real pressure, using own initiative whilst being a team player.
  • A strong customer service philosophy
  • A flexible approach to working methods and hours of attendance.
